Wild Berries
Upstate New York has some beautiful countryside.
Full of hills and forests, which in turn are filled with wildlife, wild flowers, and best of all, wild berries.
When you are fortunate enough to come across a raspberry or blackberry patch, it is hard to just stop with the taste of one berry.
Of course, the chokeberries are just beautiful. Aptly named for their EXTRA tart flavor, they can make wonderful jams and jellies, but by the handful they are a bit much :-).

Blue Wild Flower |
Pretty Weeds
As bothersome as weeds can be, they can surprise us with a beauty all their own when they open their blossoms, and show us the splendor of their flowers.
It is funny, as we call them weeds with an air of irritation when we are in the garden pulling them.
But when we pause to admire the beauty of their sometimes delicate, sometimes brash blossoms, then we call them wild flowers.
Whether we view them as pretty little weeds, or as wild flowers, we can enjoy their vast variety, from size to color to texture.
In much the same way, you can enjoy our Classic French Style Lavender Sachet (Lacy), as it has a variety of flowers embroidered into its pattern, with a number of different colors. All of which have a randomness as the patterned material is cut, so that each one is different yet similiar to the rest.

One of the delights we had popping up in our garden this past Spring was the "common" Bluebell.
Mixed in with a splash of bright color from the azalea flowers above only added the beauty.
