We came across an article this morning on MSN about natural ways in which you can get a better nights sleep.

It is an interesting article, interesting from our view point because one of the ways that Marnie Soman (the author) suggested that might help you in getting a better nights sleep is to use the lavender fragrance.

Of course, she refers to the use of lavender oil, and putting a couple drops of it on your bedding to be able to benefit from the fragrance.

That is all well and good, but we would suggest the simple solution of a lavender sachet.

The lavender sachet neatly contains the lavender buds, which in turn seals in the fragrant lavender oil, keeping it naturally fresh for you until you should need it.

Among a few of the other changes we are making here at LittleFrenchBoutique.com is the type of lavender that we use.

We have been using a Grosso lavender, which has a distinct BOLD fragrance.

But now we will be filling our sachets with the Lavandula Angustifolia type of lavender, which has its own distinct fragrance :-).

While not so bold, this lavender has a calmer, sweeter fragrance.

Imported from France, we know you will love it, and we can't wait for you all to experience the pleasant, delightful aroma of our new lavender.

Ageratums & New Lavender Sachet

We have a shaggy looking little flower out front that looks much like it came out of a Dr. Seuss book.

Bright little shaggy heads all bunched together in a cluster, in flossy lavender blue hues.

They are called "Ageratums" (ă-jer-ā-tŭms).

Some folks like them because they are so easy to grow. TOO EASY! They tend to grow like weeds, with almost no help, needing pulling quite often to keep them under control.

Whether a weed or a flower, depending on your perspective, they are pretty little flowers, with a pleasant lavender color.
