Magnolia Flowers
There is something almost magical about magnolia flowers.
Maybe it is their size. How can a flower so large be so delicate and proper looking?
Is it the apparent softness of the petals on the magnolia flowers?
Perhaps it is the soft hues, ever so gently blending together.
Whatever the draw of these magnificent giants, magnolia flowers are definitely a marvel to look upon.
And there is such a variety of magnolia flowers. Of course, with this variety, the Norfolk Botanical Gardens has quite a few on display in natural settings.
A long time southern favorite, the southern style magnolia trees with their broad leaves and giant white magnolia flowers provide a wonderful relief from the sun in addition to the beauty that they supply.
The petals from the magnolia flowers can cause a bit of an issue, depending upon your perspective. As the large petals fall from the trees, collecting upon the ground, it can almost seem like an early fall. As the petals turn brown, littering the ground, they can be a little unsightly, and may require some clean up from time to time.
A small price to pay for the comfort and beauty of the magnolia flowers.
