Red and Yellow Tulips
Although you will not find red and yellow tulips at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens all year round, these red and yellow tulips are definitely a beautiful addition to the spring appearance of the gardens.
Depending on the garden you are at determines the color of tulip flowers you will see. This garden just happened to be full of red and yellow tulips.
And what better way to brighten up the landscape. Take some freshly bloomed red tulips, add some yellow tulips that have just opened, mix in some Sun light, and voila, you have a nice bright colored garden to enjoy.
It is always fun to see the tulips as they begin to peak through the dirt. Unless you already know from previous seasons, it’s almost like Christmas again, with the anticipation of what the colors will turn out to be. Will they be purple or red tulips? Maybe white or yellow tulips? Perhaps even a variegated color.
Whatever their color, their delicate beauty is a pleasure to enjoy.
Of course, this kind of beauty comes at a price, and long before the red and yellow tulips push through the ground, the staff at Norfolk Botanical Gardens has prepared the bed, even planting more of these beautiful flowers if need be.
